Eco Rabbit Breeding

Traditionally, agricultural farms have specialised in a narrow area, depending on the type of product. For example, farms raising broiler chickens are focused exclusively on meat production, while farms keeping laying hens specialise in the production of eggs for sale and reproduction. Each of these types requires separate facilities with appropriate equipment to function effectively. Broiler farms have specialised facilities for rapid growth and feeding of the birds, while farms with laying hens are equipped with egg laying and egg collection systems.

In the context of raising rabbits for production, a Rabbax Technology farm offers a number of areas for the realization of products that cover several areas at the same time. For a particular example, let us look at the technical characteristics of the Rabbitax 8 equipment. Under the right conditions, one piece of equipment can generate 128 rabbits per year (64 females and 64 males).

Each of them had never been exposed to the harmful fumes of his own excrement, had never suffered from muscular discomfort caused by limited space for movement, and his mental health had not been compromised by inappropriate housing conditions. All of his energy was directed toward body development and immune enhancement. Each of these rabbits represents high-quality production, be it meat, fur or reproductive abilities.

The first few products from “Rabbitax” farming equipment:

Meat.  On average, each rabbit raised with the Rabbitax 8 system acquires a mass of approximately 1.5kg. Considering an intake of 128 heads, a farm using this technology is able to produce between 190 and 210kg of meat annually. It is worth recalling that to achieve this production volume, an area of only 4 square meters is used.

Waste. Waste from meat production, such as organs, ears, heads, and feet, is turned into valuable feed.  Unprocessed, fresh-fattening for zoos,  of predatory animals, dogs and the like. After undergoing heat treatment and grinding, they are used as feed, providing a nutritious diet for pets. Feed, from 4-month-old eco rabbit, leaves behind a unique impression of flavor. The sale of which will become a stable and profitable business.

Rabbit fur is not a by-product of rabbit farming (like broiler farms), but a unique material with high-performance properties and a wide range of applications. It is characterized by its durability, versatility and softness. When grown properly, it is almost indistinguishable from mink pelts. Natural rabbit pelts are in great short supply for felt production. The best and almost bottomless volume on the demand market. In addition, fur rabbit breeds can replace the cultivation for fur of predatory animals such as fox, mink, ferrets and other. There are breeds of rabbits, the fur of which is difficult to distinguish even from the fur of chinchillas. The fur direction of rabbit breeding in Rabbitax systems can even be considered a priority because to obtain quality fur you need vitamin groups A, E, D, which is obtained only from the environment - ionized post-rain air, sunshine or frosty pure oxygen.

Certified rabbits. Sale of live certified rabbits for exhibitions for professional rabbit breeders or breeder farms. Strong, healthy rabbits are especially interesting for large rabbit farms, which have a clear shortage of healthy genotypes and have acute problems with the breeding stock of their animals due to which they have to constantly purchase new rabbits.

Rabbit manure. When properly composted, rabbit waste becomes a valuable resource for agriculture. Rabbit manure contains high levels of minerals such as nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus, which are essential for plant growth and development. A special feature of rabbit manure is its softness, which is not harmful to the soil, unlike some other types of manure such as chicken manure.

Media marketing. The open use of media marketing can be a key factor in successfully promoting eco-products and attracting grant money. After all, such an approach includes innovation in rabbit breeding, humane breeding of animals and active impact on food security of the population. In addition, such projects open up new markets and create jobs. Isn't that what the government is looking for?

Rabbax Technology also offers 30 development programmes in the field of eco-rabbit farming, aimed at increasing farm profits through the promotion of unique products.
